As an avid adventurer, Phil Routhier has a passion for exotic travel, visiting many distinct and unique places all around the world to explore different sites, art, history, and culture.
Travel is a great way to learn more about yourself as well as the world around you. When a person travels away from home, they are forced to step out of their comfort zone, try new things, and challenge themselves in different ways, whether that means navigating their way through a new city, adapting to new food and cuisine, communicating through a language barrier or anything in between. For Phil Routhier these are all exciting endeavors that have made him become both a smarter and stronger person in his professional career and personal life.
Throughout his life Phil has traveled the world extensively, even living in Iraq and Spain for some time. While he loves exploring new places in general, his main motivation for exotic travel is his passion for scuba diving. For many years, Phil Routhier has been an avid scuba diver and aims to travel to as many different places around the world as possible to experience new marine life and new adventures.
Scuba Diving in the Caribbean
One of Phil Routhier’s favorite places to scuba dive is the Caribbean. There are so many different places to explore with such diverse marine life. The Caribbean could be compared to a lush, tropical rain forest with so many beautiful colors and textures in both the fish and the coral. While diving in the caribbean you are always likely to see something new and find many different species along the way.
Scuba Diving in Hawaii
While scuba diving in Hawaii is much different than scuba diving in the Caribbean, it offers a very unique experience that Phil Routhier finds absolutely fascinating. Unlike the Caribbean, you will likely have to look a little harder for different types of marine life, but it is well worth the search. Some awesome marine life and scenery you can find while diving in Hawaii include:
- Sharks
- Turtles
- Spotted Eagle Rays
- Manta Rays
- Scorpionfish
- Green Lionfish
- Lava Tubes
- Lava Rock
- And Beyond
